GGH Movie List- Grief & Relationship Edition (Aug 2,2020)

Trigger warning: Some tv shows and movies mentioned are not for a younger audience. There are themes of death, terminal illness and loss throughout (please use discretion – read up on the ones you are interested in before watching). If you ever feel uncomfortable watching any of these movies or shows, listen to your body – you may not be emotionally and mentally ready at this point in your journey to take in this content (and this is totally okay!) .

I always preferred finding self help resources to connect better to my feelings and make sense of what was going on in my life. Along with books, movies were always there for me to make those connections and understand grief through another lens. Maybe you’ve seen these movies a while ago and forgot that they have themes of loss within it. These are shows and movies that I personally have watched many times and I think do a great job portraying the uncomfortable feelings and massive changes we go through when something or someone significant is gone.
